Retelling The Gingerbread Man Stories
During large group time we have been reading different versions of the Gingerbread boy/girl. We are creating story maps. On Monday afternoon the class created the different characters in the story The Gingerbread Girl. On Tuesday we labeled the characters using book spelling.

During Shared Reading time last week we read the BIG book I Can See A Jigaree by Joy Cowley. We created a list of word that have the AN chunk.

Science Investigation
On Friday afternoon we had a great time doing our first Science Investigation. We will post next week what happened. If you have a stay day on Monday the science question was...Will a carrot float in plain water??
