Fire Prevention Week
We had an important fire safety presentation from the Wellesley fire department.
Steven is demonstrating Stop and Drop and Roll while covering his face.

The firefighters wanted students to see what a fireman looks like with all his equipment on. The oxygen mask made a funny sound.

Halloween Math Story Problems
We have been solving Halloween Story Problems...The haunted house had three pumpkins, two ghosts and 1 goblin. How many altogether? We will be creating our own math Halloween story problems soon. At math time today we learned a new math game called Compare. We liked working with math partners. 
The Queen of Ten
We were so excited to see the Queen of Ten today! During morning meeting we practiced counting by 5's and 10's. When the Queen arrived she arranged the class in groups of 10 to get to thirty! She had to include some baby dolls to get to 30!
