Writing Workshop
This week in writing we went back to our unit on map making. This week students had to make a choice. They could make a map to the nurse's office or the main office.
We took a walk taking notes.

| We had to write the title to our maps, draw the picture, add symbols and write the directions. We will be rereading our maps next week with a partner, checking to make sure our information is accurate. |

We have been working on vowel books. We started our books before vacation. We have been learning the different sound vowels make.
