Whole Body Listening

In our classroom's most recent Open Circle Mr. Voss joined us to talk about Whole Body Listening again and introduce a new check-in chart to help kids focus on some of the important points of being in a group: choosing a good spot (where you won't get distracted); using Whole Body Listening (paying attention and staying still); and, raising hands (instead of speaking out of turn).
We worked together to color in the spots of our body that should be red or green. You can see we colored in our hands, feet, body and legs red. Our eyes and brains green.
