Eric Carle

We started learning about Eric Carle!! We will be reading books by Eric Carle and learning about some of the creatures he writes about. At the beginning of the week, we read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and read some nonfiction books about butterflies. We have been talking at large group about the difference between fiction and nonfiction.
We noticed that nonfiction books have many photographs.

We labeled the parts of a butterfly.

We created a Circle Map about facts and Interesting things we are learning about butterflies.
