During Shared Reading time we are reading
Will You Be My Mother and
Hairy Bear. You can see above that we wrote words that have the AM chunk. We learned if you can spell AM you can spell bam, clam, ham, Pam etc. We are also working on the strategy of asking ourselves while reading and writing
Does it sound right? Does it look right? Does it make sense?
Writing Workshop
We are learning about small moments. At writing time, we have been reading and talking about how these books have parts to them that are small moments.
We are starting a new math unit about patterns.
